Custom-made craftwork

A cosy, rural kitchen is almost impossible without a reliable working surface in natural stone. This kitchen becomes even more authentic when both the washbasin and the work surface are custom-made. For example, a recovered bluestone washbasin is often finished off with a new working surface. Obviously, this working surface has to have the same ‘look’. This is precisely what is meant by ‘Custom-made craftwork’.

Especially working surfaces for the kitchen, but also shower units and washbasins in bluestone or French white stone fall in the category ‘Custom-made craftwork’.

‘Craftwork’ because the natural stone is first sawn to the desired dimension, then processed in craft style and then manually detailed to perfection.

‘Custom-made’ because every piece is unique and therefore has to be measured onsite in each case.

The same work method can be used for a washbasin or shower unit. Bluestone is softened so that the material is maintenance-friendly after fitting, which is certainly an important requirement.

Application options: working surfaces, basins for the kitchen, washbasins and shower units for the bathroom, door frames, coping stone pillars, wall and window thresholds, stairs, letterboxes, tables, bluestone water troughs, etc.
