Kempische Bouwmaterialen has been known as a quality point of sale of building materials since 1930.

The first generation started a building material business in the centre of Turnhout from where this slowly grew to become an established industry.

It was Paul Keuppens, the third generation,  who expanded the range of new building materials with old recuperated stones and later with other old building materials.

Beginning of the eighties the company moved to a larger and more easily accessible location in the Bleukenlaan in Turnhout.  Today Kempische Bouwmaterialen is still active on this location and meanwhile the site comprises 11 hectares.

In general the product line contains a wide range of new building materials, plastering materials and old building materials: the new building materials as well as the plastering materials are all on offer at the same location in the Plafomat outlet store.  Experienced staff advise customers during their purchase and follow up on the latest trends and techniques.  The most important assets are certainly the large stock and the years of experience.
